Editor's review
This tool helps add page numbers to a PDF document.
When several PDF documents are merged, the page numbers of individual documents may not help you find the correct page. You will need to remember the document in which the page belongs. It is simpler to re-number the pages assuming the whole combined document is one document. This tool will help you do that. It will, in fact, help renumber just any PDF document. The software comes with a simple interface and just about anyone should be able to get going with it quickly. You start by collecting the documents you want to renumber. It is a batch tool. The order these documents are operated on can be modified if required. Simply move the documents around in the list. The tool offers a whole set of adjustments to create a numbering scheme. There are basic and advanced settings available.
Basic settings allow you to change text properties (font, size and style), margins, format and position in margins. The advanced settings are used to select number type, page ranges, page number start and end, text effect and backup. Text font, size, color, etc. can be set easily. Margins, formats, positions in margins are other parameters you set. You get a preview window that shows you how exactly the page numbering is going to look. The actual numbering starts only after you have clicked the “Numbering” or “numbering and save as” controls.
